Some years ago, Ontario introduced some new measures called the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) to boost accessibility in a number of ways, and that includes being able to navigate websites more easily based on international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0).
While 1-800-Rid-Of-It that specializes in junk removal in Toronto doesn’t actually fall under the requirements (not until 2025 😊), it has received feedback from some of its valued clients with disabilities about some features of the site that are difficult for them to access. With this in mind, 1-800-Rid-Of-It has decided to make some website changes to aid in its navigation and is pleased to announce that the website is now accessible by everyone.
